An absolute Joke
I seriously cannot believe we haven't signed anyone in this transfer window. I didn’t particularly want Lingard, but I just don't get my head around the fact that in four weeks, we have not been able to attract any extra personnel. We will not be able to keep pace with any of the competitions we are in with the current squad. They will truly run out of steam.

You think this window is bad, just wait until the summer.

Re: An absolute Joke
Frustrating, but never get why people are angry or surprised by it.

They proved they were only interested in building their wealth through the club by moving to that shite stadium, yet thousands lapped it up.

Horrible thing to say, but literally nothing will change until they die and are gone, but even then the cunt kids will still be around fucking us over no doubt.

Re: An absolute Joke
That’s not horrible to say.

We have the thickest fans in the world that continue to get sucked in by them.

Just wish they used the same helicopter company as the Leicester owners

Re: An absolute Joke
The protests need to go into overdrive now
They won’t have much affect on anything
But Sullivan needs to know he’s not welcome at this club

Re: An absolute Joke
We’re safe from relegation this season, that’s the only real ambition of the owners, staying in this league, so no need to spend money.

Re: An absolute Joke
For me, you have to compare Sullivan to Terry Brown
Both had the appalling attitude towards spending money on players and refusing to kick on when there was an ounce of hope within the club
The difference though, Terry Brown never bullshitted the fans with fake bids for players, never pretended he was some sort of saviour and never pretended to support West Ham despite being a well documented Cardiff fan,
Sullivan is a different class of cunt

Re: An absolute Joke
They’re skint … it’s blindingly obvious… no other team in the 4 divisions is going into the second half of the season with only one striker in the squad. But they can’t admit to being potless because they know the fans are gonna go berserk at them again. So put a couple of smoke and mirrors bids for DCL and Raphina in the full knowledge that you’ve got no chance and they think they might get away with mugging the fans off again. Except we all see through them.

Re: An absolute Joke
I'm.glaf SOME of you now get it

The ambition IS NOT to improve the squad and challenge for trophies

The business model and ambition is to stay in the PL collect the money and rake in gate receipts from the MUGS that constantly buy into this bullshit season after season.

Once Rice and Bowen leave in the summer and they WILL be leaving we'll be back to 10th-16th in the league again and throwing cup games.

Still..... Carry on attending

Re: An absolute Joke
It’s sad to say, but the moment West Ham fans abandoned the most recent hammers united protest, in their thousands, just because “the team were doing well”, basically got what they deserve - nothing. It was a green light to
the clowns to continue treating us like mugs

Re: An absolute Joke
No excuses can cover this window, we had a chance to push on especially with the new investment, even fat frank brought in 2 players on his 1st day at Everton.

We'll get the we tried hard, we were close, you had a month and did nothing. GSB Out!

Re: An absolute Joke
We get what we deserve. We hand our money over turn up in great numbers and get taken for granted. How many other clubs have supporters that would turn up in such great numbers when there has been no trophy’s, of any significance, won for over forty years. Why would they bother with any real investment when we as supporters do that.

What is it with all the Doom and Gloom, good manager, still in cup and europa, challenging for 4th(well Manure think so as wouldn't let lingard come to us)
Miserable bunch of wannabe Spuds ,fickle fuckers!

Re: An absolute Joke
It’s hard to believe there wasn’t one player in the entire world of football who we couldn’t have added to help us push on for fourth place. It’s especially concerning considering the supposed new investment, and we have ended up exactly as we have in the past, lot of noise about big bids and no one arrives.

Re: An absolute Joke
Anyone expecting any different from Sullivan is naive. The man sees a get-out point now, and (apparently) has a buyer in tow with the necessary readies to meet the asking price. So, in not spending, he consolidates his financial position, and kicks us all in the guts at the same time (because make no bones about it, this horrible little shit is routinely furious that we have continually rejected him and sussed his cunning little stunts along the way).
He has used the transfer window, not to engineer the arrival of certain players, but in fact to engineer the future DEPARTURE of certain players. It is likely to unravel in the Summer, as Pee Wee states.
What we are seeing, in my view, is the Daves realising every possible financial return ahead of selling the club. They hate us, and we hate them, and I for one will not be at all surprised if they take the opportunity to trash & burn as they leave - Sully wouldn't be able to face the club roaring on to success the moment he departs.

All we can do, sadly, is count the days...

I can't wait until that stumbling piss head Jim White tries to defend those cunts actions on talksport. No doubt he's already got the transcript from Sullivan.

I agree with all your comments, join hammers united ,when we have 30% of the fans with us, we can truly say now its war.,time to crank it up.

Re: An absolute Joke
Is it Sullivan that still handles transfers?

Or does he just stump up the money and let Moyes do the rest?

Genuine question.

Re: An absolute Joke
It’s a shambles.

Now that this new investor has come in, Sullivan’s ego has clearly gone demented, fatally disrupting transfer negotiations in this window. I’m not even sure he knows what his strategy for the club is let alone anyone else. He’s just in super-reactive mode and yes, as CHL has noticed, would rather see the club as a burned-out hulk than prosper without him.

Bad times ahead, I fear.
